ADOPTION
If you have decided that you want to adopt a furbaby you will need a home check. This involves a volunteer home checker coming to visit you in your home and asking you some questions, looking at your garden to ensure it's secure and safe. This will be arranged between you and the checker, please remember the checker is a volunteer and will need to arrange the check when they are available, as many have family and job commitments. It may take a week or so to sort your home check out.
After your home check, your form will be processed and the main admin will look through it to check that everything is okay for you to adopt and advise if you pass.
You will be contacted by either text message, email or a phone call, by one of the home check coordinators with the outcome of your home check.
We ask that you comment on a suitable dog on our Facebook page and ask to be added to their file, or email us on angelshomechecks@gmail.com to ask to be added to a file.
When a dog is ready for adoption the main admin will look through all the forms of those on the dog's file and decide who best meets the needs of the dog. That person/family will be contacted and invited to meet the dog in their foster home with a view to adopt. This discussion will be made via messenger on Facebook, as the fosterer and admin can be in the conversation to answer any questions you may have and discuss the needs of the dog. If you are not on Facebook or familiar with Facebook messenger we will contact you by telephone.
